Outstanding lunch and service at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester

Recently I was fortunate enough to be taken to Alain Duccasse’s 3 star Michelin restaurant for lunch. It was an absolute treat which was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my husband!
We opted for the 7 course tasting menu (and yes you can manage it)! Every single mouthful was amazing and so beautifully presented, that you felt a sense of guilt to eat it; but once you did, it was mind-blowing! We both agreed that the “sauté gourmand of lobster and truffled chicken quenelles” (which has not moved from the menu since Monsieur Ducasse arrived at the Dorchester), was out of this world! You could truly taste every flavour and we would have happily eaten more!
Not only was the food fantastic but equally so, the service; which was simply outstanding, friendly, warm and unobtrusive, nothing was too much trouble! From the moment we arrived the team around us made us feel very welcome and looked after. We would definitively return not only for the stunning cuisine but the sincere welcome you are given
As we know, we should never take for granted that business will simply arrive on our doorstep, look after your customers and they will look after you!
As a mystery shopper, with my eyes everywhere, very often my role highlights the focus areas required to improve customer service, however, I still enjoy fantastic service and cannot fault Alain Ducasse and his team at The Dorchester! It was a truly memorable experience in every way that I wished to share with you!
